Description

A delightful Vanilla Caramel Latte recipe combining rich espresso with creamy steamed milk and sweet vanilla and caramel syrups, topped optionally with whipped cream and caramel drizzle for a decadent coffeehouse experience at home.

Ingredients

Scale

Espresso and Coffee

  • 2 shots of espresso (or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee)

Milk and Syrups

  • 1 cup milk (or any milk alternative)
  • 2 tbsp vanilla syrup
  • 2 tbsp caramel syrup

Toppings (Optional)

  • Whipped cream
  • Extra caramel drizzle

Instructions

  1. Brew the Espresso. Brew two shots of espresso using your espresso machine, or alternatively, prepare 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee if you don’t have one.
  2. Steam the Milk. Using a small saucepan or a milk frother, steam the milk until it is hot and frothy. If you don’t have a frother, heat the milk in the microwave until warm, then whisk vigorously to create froth.
  3. Mix the Flavors. In a large mug, combine the vanilla syrup and caramel syrup. Pour the freshly brewed hot espresso into the mug and stir well to blend all the flavors evenly.
  4. Add the Milk. Gently pour the steamed milk over the espresso and syrup mixture, stirring carefully to combine without losing the froth.
  5. Top and Serve. Optionally, top your latte with a generous amount of whipped cream and drizzle extra caramel syrup on top for additional flavor and presentation. Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade Vanilla Caramel Latte.

Notes

  • You can substitute dairy milk with almond, oat, soy, or any other milk alternative.
  • Adjust the amount of vanilla and caramel syrup to your taste preference for sweetness.
  • If you don’t have an espresso machine, strong brewed coffee is a fine substitute.
  • Whipped cream and extra caramel drizzle are optional but add extra indulgence.
  • Serve immediately for the best flavor and frothiness.
