Pinwheel Ingredients
- 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
- 8 slices deli turkey breast
- 4 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese
- 4 tablespoons cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1/4 cup baby spinach or lettuce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Tortilla: Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread 1 tablespoon of cream cheese evenly over the entire tortilla. If using, spread a light layer of Dijon mustard on top of the cream cheese.
- Add Fillings: Layer 2 slices of turkey, 1 slice of cheese, and a small handful of spinach or lettuce evenly over the tortilla, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- Roll the Tortilla: Tightly roll up the tortilla from one edge to the other to form a log. Repeat this process with the remaining tortillas.
- Chill the Rolls: Wrap each roll in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes to help set the pinwheels for easier slicing.
- Slice and Serve: Unwrap and slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels. Serve them chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
