Instructions

  1. Egg Mixture: In a heatproof bowl over simmering water, whisk egg yolks and sugar until thick. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  2. Mascarpone Cream: Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold in mascarpone until smooth. Gently fold into egg mixture.
  3. Assembly: Dip ladyfingers in coffee mixture and layer in dish. Spread mascarpone mixture over ladyfingers. Repeat layering. Chill for at least 6 hours.
