Salmon Bites:

  • 1 lb skinless salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch + 1 tablespoon water (for thickening)
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Teriyaki Sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Simmer and stir in cornstarch slurry. Cook until thickened. Remove from heat.
  2. Marinate Salmon: Place salmon cubes in a bowl, pour half of the sauce over them, and marinate for 15–30 minutes.
  3. Cook Salmon Bites: Preheat skillet or air fryer to 400°F. Cook marinated salmon for 6–8 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and cooked through.
  4. Finish and Serve: Drizzle with remaining sauce or serve for dipping. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

  • You can also bake the salmon at 400°F for 12–14 minutes if preferred.
