Description

These Teriyaki Parmesan Burgers with American Cheese are a delicious fusion twist on classic cheeseburgers, featuring savory teriyaki flavors and the rich taste of Parmesan. Juicy and flavorful, these burgers are perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients:

  • pounds ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, red onion, pickles, mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, teriyaki sauce, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix just until combined; do not overwork the meat.
  2. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties slightly larger than the buns.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the patties for 4–5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cover the pan to melt the cheese.
  6. Toast the buns if desired.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom bun and adding any desired toppings.
  8. Top with the other half of the bun and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
  • For extra flavor, brush the burgers with additional teriyaki sauce while cooking.
