Filling:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Dough Preparation: In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Add sugar, melted butter, salt, egg, and 2 cups of flour. Mix until smooth. Add remaining flour gradually until a soft dough forms. Knead for 5-6 minutes. Let rise for 1 hour.
  2. Baking: Preheat oven. Roll out dough, spread softened butter, sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture, fold, cut into strips, twist, and bake for 12–15 minutes.
  3. Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm twists.
