Description

These Strawberry Santas are a fun and festive Christmas dessert that are sure to delight both kids and adults. Made with fresh strawberries and a sweet whipped cream filling, these adorable treats are perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries (washed and hulled)
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • mini chocolate chips or black sesame seeds (for eyes)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  2. Slice off the leafy end of each strawberry so they sit flat, then cut off the pointed top third of each strawberry to create the Santa “hat.” Using a piping bag or small spoon, add a dollop of whipped cream onto the base of each strawberry to form the face and beard.
  3. Place the strawberry top back on as the hat. Pipe a small dot of whipped cream on top of the hat for a pom-pom and two small dots down the front for buttons.
  4. Use mini chocolate chips or black sesame seeds to create the eyes. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
