Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract (if using). Mix in green food coloring.
- Combine and Bake: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture. Fold in white chocolate chips and green sprinkles. Scoop dough onto baking sheets and bake for 8–10 minutes. Cool before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- For extra festivity, press a few extra white chocolate chips or shamrock sprinkles on top of the cookies right after baking.
- The almond extract adds a nice flavor twist but can be omitted for a classic sugar cookie taste.
