Description

Delightfully rich and gooey Snickers Brownie Bites combine classic brownie batter with chunks of fun-size Snickers bars, topped with a smooth chocolate ganache and crunchy chopped peanuts. These bite-sized treats are perfect for parties, dessert trays, or a satisfying sweet snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Brownie Batter

  • 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box, typically eggs, oil, and water)

Filling & Toppings

  • 12 fun-size Snickers bars, halved
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Tin: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a mini muffin tin thoroughly with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Make Brownie Batter: Prepare the brownie batter following the package instructions, which typically include mixing the brownie mix with eggs, oil, and water until smooth.
  3. Fill Muffin Tin: Spoon the brownie batter into each mini muffin cup, filling about 3/4 full to allow space for the filling.
  4. Add Snickers: Press half of a fun-size Snickers bar into the center of the batter in each cup, ensuring it is slightly submerged.
  5. Bake Brownie Bites: Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges of the brownies are set and a toothpick inserted near the edge comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Cool: Let the brownie bites cool in the muffin tin for 10 minutes, then carefully remove them and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Prepare Ganache: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and heavy cream. Heat in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until the mixture is smooth, glossy, and well combined.
  8. Top Brownies: Spoon or drizzle the chocolate ganache over each cooled brownie bite.
  9. Add Peanuts: Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top of the ganache to add crunch and flavor.
  10. Set and Serve: Allow the ganache topping to set before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • For an extra indulgent experience, serve the brownie bites warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate to extend freshness for up to a week.
