- 1½ lbs flank steak or skirt steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 3 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin

- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper

- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- Warm flour tortillas for serving

Instructions
- Marinate the Steak: In a large bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add the steak slices and toss to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the Steak: Heat the remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 3–4 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Sauté Peppers and Onions: In the same skillet, sauté bell peppers and onion for 5–6 minutes until tender.
- Combine and Serve: Return the steak to the skillet, toss with veggies, and remove from heat. Serve with warm tortillas and toppings.
Notes
- For extra flavor, squeeze fresh lime over the fajitas before serving.
- Grilling the steak and veggies separately can add a smokier taste to the dish.
