Pasta:
- 12 ounces uncooked pasta (penne or linguine)
Shrimp:
- 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
- juice of 1 lemon
Cheeses:
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Garnish:
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta: Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the sauce: In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute. Add shrimp, salt, and pepper, cook until pink. Remove shrimp.
- Make the pasta: Pour wine and lemon juice into the skillet. Simmer, then add cooked pasta and half of Parmesan. Return shrimp, toss gently.
- Bake: Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheeses. Bake for 10–12 minutes until bubbly.
- Garnish and serve: Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
