Pasta:

Shrimp:

  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)

Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
  • juice of 1 lemon

Cheeses:

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Garnish:

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook pasta: Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare the sauce: In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute. Add shrimp, salt, and pepper, cook until pink. Remove shrimp.
  4. Make the pasta: Pour wine and lemon juice into the skillet. Simmer, then add cooked pasta and half of Parmesan. Return shrimp, toss gently.
  5. Bake: Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheeses. Bake for 10–12 minutes until bubbly.
  6. Garnish and serve: Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
