Ingredients
Scale
Base and Sauce
- 1 prepared pizza base (8–10 inches)
- ½ cup Schezwan sauce
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes
- ½ teaspoon oregano
Cheese and Paneer
- 1 cup paneer, cubed and lightly sautéed
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Vegetables
- ¼ cup bell peppers (red, green, or yellow), thinly sliced
- ¼ cup onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons sweet corn kernels (optional)
Garnish
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 425°F (220°C) and allow it to fully heat so that the pizza bakes evenly.
- Sauté the paneer: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the paneer cubes along with a pinch of salt, chili flakes, and oregano. Lightly sauté the paneer for 2–3 minutes until slightly golden and aromatic. Set aside.
- Prepare the pizza base: Spread the Schezwan sauce evenly over the prepared pizza base, making sure to cover the surface but not overload it.
- Add cheese and toppings: Sprinkle ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauced base. Then evenly distribute the sautéed paneer cubes, sliced bell peppers, onions, and optional sweet corn kernels on top. For extra cheesiness, add a little more mozzarella on top if desired.
- Bake the pizza: Place the prepared pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12–15 minutes. Bake until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and starting to brown, and the crust is golden and crisp.
- Garnish and serve: Remove the pizza from the oven, garnish with fresh coriander leaves, slice, and serve hot for best flavor and texture.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by using more or less Schezwan sauce to suit your preference.
- For added variety, consider adding mushrooms, olives, or jalapeños as extra toppings.
- You can substitute the regular pizza base with whole wheat or gluten-free bases to accommodate dietary needs.
