Description

Delicious and easy to make salmon patties that are crispy on the outside, moist and flavorful on the inside. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale

Salmon Patties:

  • 1 (14.75 oz) can salmon (drained, bones and skin removed)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine drained salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, parsley, eggs, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Form Patties: Shape the mixture into 6 equal-sized patties.
  3. Cook Patties: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and heated through.
  4. Drain and Serve: Transfer patties to a paper towel-lined plate. Serve warm with lemon wedges, tartar sauce, or a side salad.

Notes

  • For a crispier texture, chill patties for 15 minutes before frying.
  • You can use fresh cooked salmon instead of canned.
