Salmon Patties:
- 1 (14.75 oz) can salmon (drained, bones and skin removed)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Mix Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine drained salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, parsley, eggs, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form Patties: Shape the mixture into 6 equal-sized patties.
- Cook Patties: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and heated through.
- Drain and Serve: Transfer patties to a paper towel-lined plate. Serve warm with lemon wedges, tartar sauce, or a side salad.
Notes
- For a crispier texture, chill patties for 15 minutes before frying.
- You can use fresh cooked salmon instead of canned.
