Description

This Salmon and Shrimp recipe is a delightful seafood dish that combines the richness of salmon with the succulence of shrimp, all cooked in a flavorful garlic butter sauce. The dish is quick and easy to prepare, making it perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Salmon:

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)

Shrimp:

  • 1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Other Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Seafood: Pat the salmon fillets and shrimp dry with paper towels. Season both with paprika, lemon pepper seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Cook the Salmon: Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Shrimp: Reduce heat to medium, add remaining butter to the skillet, and stir in garlic. Cook for 30 seconds. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  4. Finish the Dish: Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp, then return salmon to the skillet to warm through. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • This dish pairs well with rice, pasta, or roasted vegetables.
  • For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine to the garlic butter before cooking the shrimp.
