Instructions
- Preheat the oven and prepare the pan: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, and salt. Add cheddar cheese and coat evenly.
- Prepare wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together milk and mayonnaise until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry mixtures: Pour wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Prepare butter glaze: Mix melted butter and parsley in a small bowl.
- Final touch: Brush the butter-parsley mixture over the loaf as soon as it comes out of the oven.
