For the Pomegranate Margarita:
- 2 oz silver tequila
- 1 oz triple sec or orange liqueur
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 2 oz pomegranate juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup (optional, to taste)
- Ice
- Lime wedge and coarse salt for rimming (optional)
- Pomegranate seeds and lime slices for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass: If desired, run a lime wedge around the rim of a glass and dip into coarse salt to coat. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.
- Make the Margarita: In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, triple sec, lime juice, pomegranate juice, and simple syrup. Add ice and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain and Garnish: Strain the margarita into the prepared glass over ice. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and a lime slice. Serve immediately.
