Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter: Use an electric mixer on medium-high speed for 5–7 minutes until light, fluffy, and pale.
  2. Gradually add sweetened condensed milk: Add one tablespoon at a time, beating well after each addition to prevent curdling.
  3. Mix in vanilla extract and salt: Once smooth, add vanilla and salt. Beat for another 1–2 minutes until creamy.
  4. Use immediately or refrigerate: Frost cakes or cupcakes right away or store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Re-whip briefly before using if chilled.
