- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Make the crust: Beat the softened butter and sugar until light and creamy. Add flour and salt, mix to form a dough. Press into the pan and bake for 18–20 minutes.
- Prepare the filling: Whisk eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir in pecans.
- Assemble and bake: Pour filling over the crust and bake for 30–35 minutes until set. Cool before cutting into bars.
