- 1/2 pound flank steak or sirloin (thinly sliced)
- 1 small yellow onion (thinly sliced)
- 2 green onions (sliced, white and green parts separated)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 eggs (lightly beaten)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the Beef: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned. Set aside.
- Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, cook yellow onion and white parts of green onion until softened. Add garlic and cook briefly.
- Scramble Eggs: Push vegetables to one side of the pan, pour in beaten eggs, scramble until cooked, then mix with the onions.
- Add Rice and Seasonings: Stir in cold rice, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Return beef to the skillet and combine.
