Main Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice (preferably cold)
  • 1/2 pound flank steak or sirloin (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (divided)
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 small yellow onion (thinly sliced)
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate Beef: Toss sliced beef with 1 tablespoon soy sauce and black pepper. Marinate for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Stir-Fry Beef: Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet, cook beef until browned. Set aside.
  3. Sauté Vegetables: Sauté yellow onion until soft, add garlic. Cook briefly.
  4. Scramble Eggs: Push onions aside, pour eggs. Scramble and mix with onions.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Add rice, soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil. Stir well.
  6. Finish Dish: Return beef to the pan, heat through. Add green onions. Serve hot.
