- 2 cups cooked jasmine rice (preferably cold)
- 1/2 pound flank steak or sirloin (thinly sliced)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (divided)
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 small yellow onion (thinly sliced)
- 2 green onions (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Marinate Beef: Toss sliced beef with 1 tablespoon soy sauce and black pepper. Marinate for 10–15 minutes.
- Stir-Fry Beef: Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet, cook beef until browned. Set aside.
- Sauté Vegetables: Sauté yellow onion until soft, add garlic. Cook briefly.
- Scramble Eggs: Push onions aside, pour eggs. Scramble and mix with onions.
- Combine Ingredients: Add rice, soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil. Stir well.
- Finish Dish: Return beef to the pan, heat through. Add green onions. Serve hot.
