- ½ cup dry white wine or chicken broth
- juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed and drained
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Melt Butter and Oil: In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add Liquid and Simmer: Pour in wine or broth and simmer for 2–3 minutes, scraping any browned bits. Stir in lemon juice and capers.
- Season and Finish: Season with salt and pepper, simmer until slightly reduced. Remove from heat, stir in parsley, and serve warm over your choice of protein or vegetables.
Notes
- For a richer sauce, whisk in an extra tablespoon of butter off the heat.
- If desired, for a creamier version, stir in 2 tablespoons of heavy cream after adding lemon juice.
