Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (optional)
Rice:
- 1 cup long grain white rice
- 2 cups beef broth
Garnish:
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the Steak: Season the steak pieces with salt and black pepper.
- Sear the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sear the steak in batches for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove steak and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt the butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and vinegar, and simmer.
- Cook the Rice: Add the uncooked rice to the skillet, coat in the sauce, pour in beef broth, simmer, cover, and cook for 15–18 minutes.
- Finish the Dish: Return the steak to the skillet, cook until steak is fully cooked and heated through. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
