Instructions
- Preheat and Season: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush both sides of each chicken breast evenly with olive oil. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper over the chicken to season thoroughly.
- Grill Chicken: Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for 5 to 6 minutes on one side, then flip and cook an additional 5 to 6 minutes on the other side until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Add Mozzarella Cheese: During the last 2 minutes of grilling, lay a slice of fresh mozzarella on each chicken breast. Close the grill lid to allow the cheese to melt properly.
- Prepare Toppings: Once the chicken is cooked and cheese melted, remove the chicken breasts from the grill. Immediately top each with fresh tomato slices and sprinkle with basil leaves for a burst of fresh flavor.
- Serve with Balsamic Glaze: Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the chicken breasts just before serving to add a sweet and tangy finish that ties all the flavors together.
