Instructions

  1. Preheat and Season: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush both sides of each chicken breast evenly with olive oil. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper over the chicken to season thoroughly.
  2. Grill Chicken: Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for 5 to 6 minutes on one side, then flip and cook an additional 5 to 6 minutes on the other side until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  3. Add Mozzarella Cheese: During the last 2 minutes of grilling, lay a slice of fresh mozzarella on each chicken breast. Close the grill lid to allow the cheese to melt properly.
  4. Prepare Toppings: Once the chicken is cooked and cheese melted, remove the chicken breasts from the grill. Immediately top each with fresh tomato slices and sprinkle with basil leaves for a burst of fresh flavor.
  5. Serve with Balsamic Glaze: Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the chicken breasts just before serving to add a sweet and tangy finish that ties all the flavors together.
