Description

This Garlic Parmesan Steak Tortellini is a flavorful and quick skillet dish featuring tender cubes of steak, sautéed vegetables, and cheese-filled tortellini tossed in a rich Parmesan garlic sauce. Perfect for a satisfying weeknight meal, this recipe combines hearty steak and fresh vegetables with creamy, cheesy tortellini cooked together on a griddle for convenience and great flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

Steak and Vegetables

  • 2 strip steaks, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 large zucchini, cut into smaller pieces
  • 10 oz grape tomatoes, halved

Tortellini and Sauce

  • 1 (19 oz) bag frozen cheese tortellini
  • ¼½ cup water
  • ¼ cup Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce
  • Shredded Parmesan cheese, for garnish
  • Heath Riles’ Garlic Butter Seasoning, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep Ingredients: Cut the strip steaks into bite-sized cubes, slice the onion, and cut the zucchini into smaller pieces. Halve the grape tomatoes to prepare all vegetables and meat for quick cooking.
  2. Cook on Griddle: Heat a griddle over medium heat and add one tablespoon of avocado or olive oil. Place the chopped vegetables and steak cubes onto the griddle and season everything evenly with Heath Riles’ Garlic Butter Seasoning for enhanced flavor.
  3. Cook Tortellini: Add the frozen cheese tortellini to the griddle along with ¼ to ½ cup of water. Cover with a griddle dome or lid to steam the tortellini for about 3-5 minutes until tender and cooked through.
  4. Toss with Sauce: Once the tortellini is tender, stir in ¼ cup of Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce to coat the tortellini and combine flavors. Remove the tortellini from the griddle once sauced.
  5. Finish and Serve: Continue cooking the vegetables and steak on the griddle until the steak reaches your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender. Plate the tortellini and top with the cooked steak and vegetables. Garnish generously with shredded Parmesan cheese and serve immediately for a warm, comforting dish.

Notes

  • Use a griddle dome or lid to effectively steam the tortellini, ensuring they cook evenly and remain tender.
  • Adjust the amount of water added for steaming the tortellini based on your griddle size and moisture needs.
  • Heath Riles’ Garlic Butter Seasoning adds a savory garlic flavor; feel free to substitute with your preferred seasoning blend if unavailable.
  • For best results, cook the steak to medium-rare or medium depending on preference, to keep it tender.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheated gently on the stovetop or microwave.
