Ingredients
Scale
Dough:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Garlic Butter Topping:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the Greek yogurt and olive oil, stirring until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 2–3 minutes until smooth.
- Shape and Cook the Flatbreads: Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and roll each into a thin oval or circle. Heat a non-stick skillet or cast iron pan over medium-high heat. Cook each flatbread for 1–2 minutes per side, until golden spots appear and it puffs slightly.
- Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat, then add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
- Finish and Serve: Brush the warm garlic butter generously over each flatbread as soon as it comes off the pan. Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sprinkle with grated Parmesan or a pinch of sea salt after brushing with garlic butter.
- These flatbreads are great served with dips, soups, or grilled meats.
