Whipped Cream Topping:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions
- Brownie Layer: Prepare and bake the brownie mix according to package directions in a 9×9-inch pan. Let the brownies cool completely.
- French Silk Filling: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the melted, cooled chocolate and mix until combined. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract. Continue beating for 3–5 minutes until the mixture is smooth and silky. Spread the French silk filling evenly over the cooled brownies.
- Whipped Cream Topping: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread the whipped cream over the chocolate layer. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Garnish with chocolate shavings if desired.
