Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix dough: In a large bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and self-rising flour. Knead until smooth.
- Shape bagels: Divide the dough, roll into ropes, and shape into bagels. Place on baking sheet.
- Egg wash and bake: Brush with beaten egg, add desired toppings, and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden.
- Cool and serve: Let the bagels cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For self-rising flour substitute: mix 1 cup all-purpose flour with 1½ teaspoons baking powder and ¼ teaspoon salt.
- Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days or frozen for later use.
