Main Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

Seasonings and Sauces:

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (10 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Additional:

  • 8 oz uncooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with onion until fully browned. Add garlic and cook for an additional 1–2 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer to Slow Cooker: Move the beef mixture to the slow cooker. Add Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, marinara sauce, cream of mushroom soup, and beef broth. Stir to combine.
  3. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours.
  4. Add Pasta: About 30 minutes before serving, stir in pasta and heavy cream. Cover and cook on high for 25–30 minutes until pasta is tender.
  5. Melt Cheese: Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Serve: Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can swap ground beef for ground turkey or Italian sausage.
  • For extra veggies, add spinach or mushrooms during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
