Description

Chopped Club Sliders Bites are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer featuring buttery Hawaiian rolls layered with melted Colby Jack cheese, savory turkey and ham deli meats, crispy bacon, fresh chopped lettuce, and a creamy mayonnaise dressing. These sliders are perfect for parties, game day, or any casual gathering requiring a quick and flavorful finger food.

Ingredients

Scale

Sliders

  • 12 count Savory Butter Hawaiian Rolls
  • 3 slices Colby Jack cheese
  • Mayonnaise (for spreading and mixing, approx. ½ cup total)
  • 2 cups lettuce, chopped
  • 6 slices turkey deli meat, chopped
  • 6 slices ham deli meat, chopped
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat and prepare rolls: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally, separating the top halves from the bottoms. Lay the 3 slices of Colby Jack cheese evenly across the top portions of the rolls and spread a thin layer of mayonnaise evenly on the bottom halves.
  2. Bake the rolls: Place both the cheese-topped tops and mayonnaise-coated bottoms of the rolls on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until the cheese is thoroughly melted and the bread has a toasted, golden texture.
  3. Prepare the filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, chopped turkey, chopped ham, and crumbled cooked bacon. Gradually incorporate mayonnaise while stirring just until the mixture achieves your preferred consistency. Season with black pepper to taste, blending all ingredients well.
  4. Assemble sliders: Evenly spread the prepared meat and lettuce mixture onto the toasted bottom halves of the rolls. Carefully place the cheese-melted top halves back on to create sliders. Serve immediately and enjoy these flavorful bites.

Notes

  • You can substitute the Colby Jack cheese with cheddar or Swiss cheese if preferred.
  • Adjust mayonnaise quantity to taste or replace with Greek yogurt for a healthier option.
  • These sliders are best served warm right after assembly to enjoy the melted cheese.
  • For added flavor, consider adding a slice of tomato or a pickle on the filling.
  • You can prepare the filling ahead of time and assemble just before serving.
