For the Chicken:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Buttered Noodles:
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper on both sides.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook for 6–7 minutes per side until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
- Cook the Noodles: Boil salted water in a pot and cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and return to pot.
- Prepare the Buttered Noodles: Add butter to noodles and stir until melted and coated. Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble and Serve: Plate buttered noodles, top with sliced chicken, sprinkle with parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
- You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts.
- For extra flavor, sauté minced garlic with butter before mixing with noodles.
