Ingredients

Scale

Pasta:

  • 12 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)

Chicken Sausages:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound chicken sausages (sliced)

Vegetables:

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium zucchini, sliced into half-moons
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved

Seasonings and Toppings:

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
