Ingredients

Scale

Ground Beef Mixture:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Other Ingredients:

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 8 ounces uncooked pasta shells or elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ground Beef Mixture: Heat olive oil in a large deep skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté onion until softened, about 3 minutes. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
  2. Add Seasonings: Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
  3. Cook Pasta: Add beef broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and pasta to the skillet. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 12–15 minutes until pasta is tender.
  4. Add Cheese: Stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Finish and Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, add 1/4 cup of heavy cream before the cheese.
  • Substitute mozzarella for a different cheese flavor.
