Filling
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Dough and Topping
- 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.
- Prepare the filling: In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Assemble the rolls: Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 16 triangles. Spoon about 1 to 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture on the wide end of each triangle. Carefully roll up each crescent starting from the wide end to the tip, then place each roll seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush with butter: Brush the tops of the crescent rolls with melted butter to promote browning and add flavor.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
- Garnish and serve: Once baked, remove the rolls from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy.
