Buffalo Cauliflower Bites Ingredients
- 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ cup buffalo sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and facilitate easy cleanup.
- Season Cauliflower: In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until they are evenly coated with the seasoning and oil.
- Roast Cauliflower: Spread the seasoned cauliflower florets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer to ensure even roasting. Place in the oven and roast for 25 minutes until the florets are golden brown and tender.
- Coat with Buffalo Sauce: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and drizzle the roasted cauliflower with buffalo sauce. Toss to make sure every floret is coated well in the spicy sauce.
- Final Roast: Return the coated cauliflower to the oven for an additional 10 minutes to allow the buffalo sauce to set and caramelize slightly on the florets.
- Serve: Serve warm as a delicious appetizer or snack alongside your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can flip the cauliflower halfway through the initial roasting period.
- If you prefer less spice, reduce the amount of buffalo sauce or use a milder hot sauce.
- These bites are best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven for best texture.
- Try adding a sprinkle of chopped fresh parsley or chives as a garnish for a fresh taste.
- Perfect as a vegetarian alternative to traditional buffalo wings.
