Description

For the filling:

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)

For the glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese (softened)
  • 2–3 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Dough: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Add melted butter, egg, salt, and flour. Knead until smooth. Let rise.
  2. Filling: Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour. Roll out dough, spread with butter, sprinkle filling, add blueberries, roll up, and slice. Place in baking dish.
  3. Bake: Preheat oven. Bake rolls until golden. Mix glaze ingredients. Drizzle over cooled rolls.

Notes

  • If using frozen blueberries, do not thaw to avoid excess moisture.
  • Best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated gently the next day.
  • Add lemon zest to the glaze for a bright citrus note.
