Chicken Marinade:

  • pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (divided)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Stir-Fry:

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a medium bowl, toss the chicken with 1 tablespoon soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Sauté Chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet, add the chicken, and cook until golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook Vegetables: In the same pan, sauté bell peppers and onion until tender. Add garlic.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Return chicken to the pan. Add soy sauce, black pepper, salt, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Cook until heated through.
  5. Serve: Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
