- 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes

- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
- Cook Pasta: Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare Sauce: In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Sauté onion until softened, then add garlic. Brown ground beef, drain excess fat. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, herbs, salt, and peppers. Simmer.
- Combine: Add cooked pasta to the sauce, stir in Parmesan. Cook briefly until heated through.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.
