- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Cheese and Buns
- 4 slices deli style American cheese
- 8 slider buns
- 2–3 tablespoons butter
Sauce
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare the Burger Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine 1 pound ground beef with 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional), 1 teaspoon seasoned salt, and 1 teaspoon garlic powder. Mix thoroughly to evenly distribute the seasonings.
- Shape and Cook Patties: Divide the meat mixture into 8 equal portions and flatten each into a patty. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Place the patties in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are spaced apart, and cook for 8-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F and patties are fully cooked.
- Add Cheese and Melt: Cut 4 slices of American cheese in half, place a half slice over each patty, and return to the air fryer for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Toast the Buns: Spread 2-3 tablespoons of butter on the slider buns and toast them lightly in the air fryer or on a skillet until golden brown and warm.
- Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons ketchup, 1 tablespoon mustard, and 1 teaspoon white vinegar. Season with 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt and 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, adjusting to taste.
- Assemble the Sliders: Spread the prepared sauce on the toasted buns, add the cheesy patties, and top with the bun crowns. Serve immediately while warm and juicy.
Notes
- You can omit the liquid smoke if you prefer a milder flavor.
- Adjust seasoning according to your taste preference.
- Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
