Dough:
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough or biscuit dough
Filling:
- 1/2 cup Nutella
Additional:
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
- nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat Your Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F.
- Prepare the Dough: Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the dough, pressing seams together if using crescent rolls. Cut the dough into 2-inch squares.
- Fill the Dough: Place about 1 teaspoon of Nutella in the center of half of the squares. Top with the remaining squares, pressing the edges together firmly to seal.
- Cook in Air Fryer: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with nonstick spray. Arrange the stuffed dough pieces in a single layer, working in batches if needed. Air fry for 6–8 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Finish and Serve: Brush with melted butter immediately after cooking and dust generously with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
Notes
- You can use any chocolate-hazelnut spread or even peanut butter for a variation.
- These are best enjoyed fresh, but you can reheat leftovers in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes.
